Featured Books for Chemistry Students
All students in Professor Walker's chemistry classes are invited to read one assigned book and to complete worksheets for extra credit. The maximum extra credit that can be earned is one percent of the final grade. Extra credit is only awarded to students already earning a grade of "C" or higher. The folder of completed worksheets is due one week prior to the final exam and will not be returned. Completed folders may be submitted as paper copies or as a zip file emailed to Professor Walker (jwalker@ccc.edu). Answering the questions on the worksheets will help students to focus on the chemistry related content of the book. It is not necessary to answer worksheet questions in complete sentences or long paragraphs. Short answers are fine.
